Annet Mahendru
Mahendru was born to a Russian Indian mother as well as an Afghan Hindu father. She fluently speaks German Russian English. Annet Mahendru, born in India to her Russian father as well as an Indian mother, speaks fluently in both languages. An improvised performance she choreographed at the age of 11 that aired on German television, transformed her into a Russian dancer who was a snow maiden. After graduating from New York's high school, she earned her bachelor's degree in English degree from St. John's University. In college, she attended acting classes at the HB Studio but then left to study improvisation at the Groundlings School taking on several comedy-related projects afterward. Her birthplace was in Kabul Afghanistan to a Hindu-Indian father Ghanshan Ken Mahendru, and the Russian mother Olga. Their parents split when she turned 13 years old old and she relocated to East Meadow New York with her father.She appears alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell in The Americans on FX.
