The year 2013 was somewhat of a disappointment to Jessica Lucas. Costarring in the highly anticipated show Cult it premiered on February 19th, it was dropped from the schedule a few weeks later on April 10. The CW broadcast all 13 episodes later on during this season. It's not a great feeling to appear in a popular series which is being cancelled this quickly. One positive is Jessica's professional career seemed to be growing exponentially. Jessica Lucas starred as Michael B. Jordan's American wife in his film, That Awkward Moment, which premiered in early 2014. The actress is having an affair with her husband, and is obviously the upper hand when it comes to their relationships. Lucas's performance is impressive in all scenes, especially since the buddy movie mostly is centered around three actors. The Paul W.S. movie, like we've mentioned previously, she is also a star in those few scenes. Anderson period action-adventure film Pompeii. Shenae, AnnaLynne McCord, and Jessica Stroup were her co-stars in the reboot of 90210. In 2009, she was part of the cast of a highly successful reboot of the popular 1990s series, Melrose Place playing a wholesome elementary-school educator Riley Richmond.
